NIYEEDEP Program Sets Date for Next Phase as Over 309,230 Register

Over 309,230 people have registered for the NIYEEDEP program and are now awaiting the next phase. Registration began one week ago through the NIYEEDEP registration platform, and now, the program will move to the next stage, which involves opening a business account with one of three partnered banks.

According to the information on the NIYEEDEP website, account opening will begin on Thursday, January 30, 2025.

Applicants must open an account with one of these three banks to complete their application, as outlined in the instructions provided when the registration platform was launched.

The Nigerian Economic Engagement and De-Radicalization Programme (NIYEEDEP) was created to address major issues such as youth unemployment, poverty, and the underutilization of youth in Nigeria’s economy, while also reducing the impact of security and poverty challenges at the local level.

If you haven't registered yet, you can sign up at:

https://www.niyeedep.org/register.html to receive a registration number to open an account with the selected banks.

NIYEEDEP is a youth empowerment initiative aimed at solving economic problems, launched by the Youths Off The Street Initiative (YOTSI) in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Youth Development and the Nigerian Senate (10th Assembly), through its Committee on Sports Development.
